Oh look, Hyuga is finally starting to show signs of becoming less of a douche. Hooray! Though I still prefer the younger Hyuga who was not yet completely full of himself.
As a person who watches (and loves) both Jdramas and Kdramas, I usually try not to compare them. I watch Kdrama whenever I wanna see romance and happily-ever-after. Their storyline is usually pretty much the same all the time, that I can even predict in what episode what will happen lol. I watch Jdramas when I wanna be intrigued or learn something or just enjoy the storyline (it's true that kissing scenes are lacking in most Jdramas).
To continue my novel of a reply to the Korean/Japanese Drama Discussion:
For the K-Drama haters - they aren't boring at all I think, at least not the good ones. Try Master's Sun, Man From the Stars (Aka My Love From The Star(s)) or Secret Garden. They are hilarious and very good. Also funny: Emergency Couple, Reply 1996 (I hope I got the year right, there are two and I'm confused), Sly and Single Again or School 2013 (One of my personal all time favorites).
For the serious stuff try Bridal Mask. It's amazing.
Okay I should stop now with the recommendation, but long story short: Please stop insulting that which you do not know. One thing doesn't determine the rule for the country in general. In my opinion both are amazing (Speaking of, try Taiwanese Dramas - such as Just You. Brilliant, funny and sweet)
I used to be obsessed with K-dramas, I watched alot of K-dramas in high school but not anymore, I found that 90% of K-dramas are all the same, the same storylines over & over again, it became very boring and repetitive, K-dramas have absolutely NO originality whatsoever, most of the time they rely on copying and adapting and taking ideas from other countries, so I got tired of K-dramas eventually. I think J-dramas are so much better and much more interesting because there are ALOT more variety in J-dramas and more different writing, they have more originality and J-dramas are also shorter with more direct storytelling. Of course people can like what they like, but overall I personally find J-dramas much better than K-dramas.
I now know y the kdrama is much like by filipino fans, they are so incomparable to jdrama, I watch this coz I'm curious how they film thier drama... sorry but it was so disappointing...
Why people come here and talk about kdramas? If you dont like it dont watch it..is that simple. Go watch kdramas till u bleed but dont come here making this kind of comments.
Are you seriously saying dramas like BOF, Heirs and To The Beautiful you were better than this LMAO
K-Dramas are liked by international fans only cause of pretty faces, which you would have to admit are more than half of the time plastic.
I find KDramas incredibly boring!! They have like 200000000 episodes and after the 3rd one it becomes so dull and boring and lah. Japanese have like 10 or 11 eps which is well enough. Plus JDramas now developed. KDramas such as Heirs (which flopped like poop), You Are Beautiful etc. all were deeply uninteresting after the 2nd episode. KDramas really don´t have much different stories to tell....The only fine KDramas I could name are kIM sAM sOon and When a Man loves...
Both K-Dramas and J-Dramas have their merits, you can't compare them. Neither are good as a rule, but I have to agree that in terms of writing, directing and acting and especially kissing scenes this drama is better than Boys over Flowers, which I will love forever because it was my first drama. But let's be honest - the kissing scenes? Nightmare. However there are bad actors, writers and directors in Japan and in Korea. Korean dramas tend to be more colorful than J-Dramas (in my experience). Also I read somewhere that they tend to have the bigger budget. If you dislike this J-Drama that doesn't mean that they're bad as a rule. There are a lot of good ones out there - if you like hilarious ones try Hana Kimi or Yamato Nadeshiko Shichi Henge, or Hana Yori Dango, since it's a classic. Gokusen is as well and a very entertaining drama in my opinion. But there are a lot of others out there if you like more serious ones.
Even though the actor playing Hyuga is certainly not that handsome he possesses so much charm and natural attractiveness.Love the way he teases mokota natsui all the time.
Their chemistry is off the charts!!!!
Love their acting. Love this drama
