His life was targeted in fighting and he sustained injuries to the extent that he can no longer walk. While hospitalised, he happens to eat a substance which gives his body the elasticity of rubber. Kitou is roused into action by his flexibility, but he is already being treated as a nuisance by the group … … Because of an encounter with Luffy, he becomes aware of the important things which he had forgotten, despite his hostility. Jibun o Shinjita Otoko Story: Ever since he was born, Usui Jiro (Inagaki Goro) has had completely no presence and been the sort of person whom everyone has a tendency to forget. One day, when Usui is taking a seat at a family restaurant, a man is already seated across from him. Usui does not notice the presence of the man, Kageyama (Tezuka Toru) and ends up sitting because he thinks it is vacant. The two of them talk about each other’s lack of presence. They empathise and hit it off. In order to obtain living proof, Kageyama proposes that they try a bold move that would make use of their lack of presence which could pass off as invisibility. The two of them would attempt bank robbery. Kageyama and Usui hit the streets and try to test their presence in commemorative graduation ceremony photographs and the cage at the batting centre. As was expected, they were not noticed. Usui, who initially had cold feet, is convinced that they will go unnoticed and decides to go along with Kageyama and rob the bank. They head to the bank and quickly stuff money into their bags, but the ending is something that the two of them totally did not expect. Omote Story: One day, Miki (Suzuki Rio) and her classmates hear about a frightening legend associated with the Noh mask at the temple from the chief priest. The moment the mask, which is just like the face of the priest (Maro Akaji), was removed, he ceased to exist. Only the mask was left behind. Ever since they heard this story, something unusual starts happening to the children too. Miki receives a strange phone call from her friend, Aki, who tells her that her face is coming off. Right after the call, Aki suddenly disappears. She had said, “There was the sound of my face coming off in my ears when I placed my hand on my face.” One day, Miki hears this sound too. She shudders with fear that she will disappear too. There is the shadow cast by a suspicious-looking man following her around. A horrifying truth is brought to light. Mushitachi no Ie Story: Koichi (Itao Itsuji) tells his lover, Hanako (Iriyama Noriko), that his wife, Ruiko (Hasegawa Kyoko) is no longer human and shows her into the house. Koichi had loved Ruiko very much, but when he came home early one day, Ruiko was together with a young man. He explains to Hanako that Ruiko transformed into a spider because of her sense of guilt. Ruiko, who is in there within an ominous spiderweb, has peace of mind. Hanako is shocked. But when Koichi steps away, she discovers a copy of a diary in the spiderweb. Ruiko’s feelings, which are poured out inside, are completely different from Kochi’s explanation. The love and hatred of wife and husband opens the door to madness when desires mingle. Jishibarimono Story: One day, completely motionless people in a position similar to being strapped to the ground start to appear around town. They are declared dangerous and no one attempts to go near, but Asano Noriko (Maeda Atsuko), who works as a social welfare worker for Aozora Kokoro Association, starts to approach the people who have become bound to specific locations. She guesses from the stories that she finally managed to get out of them, that they are unable to move because of their deep emotional attachment to this land. Hayakawa Yoshiya (Tanaka Kei), the leader of Aozora Kokoro Association, is partial to Noriko who works with enthusiasm. On the other hand, the kindhearted Noriko is troubled by the enmity with her Mariko (Watanabe Makiko), who abandoned her father. Then an unexpected person also becomes bound to a location, and a shocking truth starts to become clear. less
