Soo Ha totally failed in his promise to protect her, in the end the mother ended up getting killed. I wonder if he will be able to kill that guy now, but seeing how he has lacked with his actions so far I really doubt it. I really feel bad for Hye Sung, not only did she have to beg for forgiveness from that prosecutor lady that I don't have any good words to describe. But she also had to witness the guy, whom I can't figure out why the writers made her like, protect the killer. I was hoping to see Soo Ha be able to destroy both that lawyer and the prosecutor, but then again he wasn't even able to protect the one he wanted the most..
I don't hate the prosecutor she did her best to put that jerk in jail but she failed but I do hate her dad though ...
Lawyer cha is supra idiot and lawyer shin gets on my nerves with his lectures.
no matter how kind-hearted lawyer cha is, he shouldn't have accepted the case in the first place. If I were him, I would rather resign than to be that bastard's lawyer. poor hye seong:((
he is a cmplt idiot..............but this scene is really very strange .u can tell whether if it's an accident or a crime by investigating the dead body...........there u can capture the wrong person
I don't hate Lawyer Cha that much. I think he has a good heart that is why he fell for Min Gook's angelic acting. He even used the suicide attempt though in daylight which is suspicious. Anyway, I hope Soo Ha don't kill Min Gook. He shouldn't get his hand dirty over that bad blood. If worse comes to worse, he should stick with Hye Song all the time when the killer get loose. That way, they can defend themselves because they are aware of the threat unlike Hye Song's poor clueless mother.
I don't know Korean law, but it sure seems like a conflict of interest for the boyfriend of the victim's daughter to be appointed lawyer for the suspect. I don't think a judge in the US would allow it. Too much possibility for the defense to throw the case intentionally.
this is fiction and not real so what happens in real life is not being done here so maybe in Korean courts that would be the case, but during the fiction case it is not.
It's creative licence all right. IRL this case would never be assigned to Lawyer Cha due to possible conflict of interest. Regarding their unknown relationship, Cha would have declared their status if he didn't want to take up the case so it's dramatic liberty at work too.
it would not be conflict of interest, as preview above (ALONE), there is just a mutual understanding between the daughter of the victim and the defense counsel of the alleged suspect, they are not married yet, therefore, u cant justify or invoked the principle of interest in conflict.
Plus, his prosecuter was also a witness in a previous murder case, which is also kind of a conflict of interest.
Anyway, I love this drama, I do, but it keeps making me scream out loud in frustration.
what exactly did they do to Lee Jong Suk's nose?? it's distracting - can't standing it anymore - and depressing to watch how they destroy the personality of their own faces to look so plasticky, like a serial product ! ... also, how can they mistake 3 blows to the head for a hit by falling??! Seriously, are you kidding me ??!! + one blow&trauma is obviously earlier than the ones that caused the death... yaaaa ! ... *seething*
im guessing her mothing might be alive...idk it seemed fake to me. that was awesome how do yeon told that idiot she was another witness but retaarded since now he might target her next. im also thinking do yeon might be his daughter since she was adopted but doesnt know it.

it's not that it would be allowed in korea, it's that no one actually knows that they're dating you see.himi

She didn't confess, so why would he? He has no grudge against her. It would even make him more suspicious, too.
